The only return this week is You And Your Heart by Jack Johnson at 99.
To start our gains, Undo It by Carrie Underwood gains big to 25. Impossible by Shontelle rises to 28. Ridin' Solo by Jason Derulo climbs to 56. Somebody To Love by Justin Bieber and Usher gains to 69. I Like It by Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull climbs to 70. Love Like Crazy by Lee Brice rises to 77. Finally, Free by Zac Brown Band gains to 80.
24. Beautiful Day - Lee DeWyze
So this week was the finale of the 2010 American Idol season, and the winner, Lee DeWyze had his coronation single, his Inside Your Heaven or A Moment Like This if you will, chart this week. And it's a cover of the U2 song of the same name. And this is an okay cover but doesn't really do anything that the original song doesn't, so all this really does for me is give me the urge to listen to the U2 original. It's not bad, but I'm gonna forget this in record time. I'm not surprised this guy didn't take off.
89. The Only Exception - Paramore
I put this song in the top 3 of my 2010 best list and I absolutely stand by that because this song is still exceptional. The gorgeous strings and piano, Hayley Williams's beautiful voice, and the lyrics about being scared of love, but finally getting in a relationship, but still being afraid that it's gonna end. I went more into depth on this song on my best list so see that if you haven't. Incredible song!
91. Teach Me How To Dougie - Cali Swag District
Ain't a damn one know how to do the dougie
(You don't do the dougie?) No, not in Kentucky
But these girls 'round here yep, they still love me
Yea, the girls 'round here, they all deserve a whistle
Shakin' that sugar, sweet as Dixie crystal
They like that y'all and southern drawl
And just can't help it cause they just keep fallin'"
I'm not a J. Cole fan by any means, in fact I'd say I dislike him most of the time. However, I enjoyed this. I mean the bars are nothing special, but the beat is awesome, and Cole rides it very well. This just kind of slaps. Good stuff.
98. Sex Room - Ludacris, Trey Songz
This sounds like if Luda and Trey made a Robin Thicke song and I want none of it! Next!
100. Super High - Rick Ross, Ne-Yo
I don't hate Rick Ross as much as most critics in this community do, heck I'd say I like him most of the time with the obvious exception of that one time in 2013, you know the one. But yeah, I like this one too. I wouldn't say I love it but it's definitely good. Ne-Yo's hook is solid, the beat works, and Rick Ross does a good job here. It's nothing special, but it's pretty solid. I'll take it.
And that was this week! Worst Of The Week is going to Sex Room by Ludacris and Trey Songz, with Dishonorable Mention to Teach Me How To Dougie by Cali Swag District. Best Of The Week is going to The Only Exception by Paramore, and Honorable Mention to Who Dat by J. Cole.
