Finally, Ride by Ciara and Ludacris gains to 79.
62. Rock That Body - The Black Eyed Peas
I used to absolutely hate this song and consider it one of the worst hits of 2010, but I don't anymore. I mean it has some bad elements. The production is pretty weak and the chipmunk vocals are annoying but the other vocals are good and the hook is catchy outside of the chipmunk vocals. It just evens out to mid for me.
65. Gypsy - Shakira
I like Shakira and like most of what I've heard this is pretty good. Her voice is amazing as usual and the production is very good. The lyrics are also good if nothing special. While I wouldn't call this is as great as some of her hits like She Wolf, Can't Remember To Forget You, Whenever, Wherever, etc, its still really good. Would recommend it.
83. Magic - B.o.B., Rivers Cuomo
While this is my least favorite of his 2010 hits, that isn't saying much as this is still very awesome. The banging beat that was unfortunately produced by a certain abuser, the fantastic hook, B.o.B.'s really good bars. Just such a fun song.
85. Cooler Than Me - Mike Posner
I still do not get the hate for this song and stand by what I said on my best list for 2010. There is nothing I see wrong with the lyrics, and his vocals are quite good. The hook is great. But the star of the show with this song is the instrumental. That fucking synth melody is so fucking incredible! Espicially the solo at the end, which was one of the best moments of pop music in all of 2010 if you ask me. Fantastic song and I do not get why people hate it so much.
89. Lover, Lover - Jerrod Niemann
This on the other hand deserves more hate than it gets if you ask me. One of the final cuts from my Top 10 Worst Hit Songs of 2010. The annoying vocals, the weak instrumental and the insufferable lyrics. Terrible stuff.
93. Halfway There - Big Time Rush
I never watched this show so I don't know much about this group. Anyway how is this? Pretty mediocre. Sure the singers aren't bad and this song kinda reminds me of One Direction, but 1D did songs like this a lot better and the production on this song is TERRIBLE and a lot worse than 1D usually had. So yeah this isn't any good.
95. Gettin' Over You - David Guetta, Chris Willis, Fergie, LMFAO
I will defend David Guetta a lot more than most critics. And I actually really like Fergie now. A lot of Black Eyed Peas with her on them have grown on me and I like all of her solo hits from the 2000s and even will defend M.I.LF$. And I also like LMFAO. So how is this? Very good! The production from Guetta slaps, Fergie sounds amazing, this Chris Willis also sounds very good, and LMFAO's repetition of party slaps. This is just so much fun. I would recommend it even if you don't like David Geutta or any of the featured artists.
100. New Morning - Alpha Rev
This is solid. Decent instrumental, okay lyrics, and weaker than average but still not bad vocals. Just a fine rock song but nothing special.
So yeah that was this week! Worst Of The Week is going to Lover, Lover by Jarrod Niemann, with Dishonorable Mention going to Halfway There by Big Time Rush. Best Of The Week is going to Gettin' Over You by David Guetta, Chris Willis, Fergie and LMFAO, and Honorable Mention is going to Cooler Than Me by Mike Posner.
